The Convent of San Pedro Mártir stands out especially for its splendid Mudejar tower and for the tombs and prayerful sculptures, among them those of the Counts of Mélito who inspired the legend "El Beso" by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.
Currently, the building houses the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
