Jesus Fontecha develops his career at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Ciudad Real, Spain, performing research in the Modeling Ambient Intelligence Research Group (MAmI) and Technological Institute of Information Systems (ITSI). He graduated in computer engineering in September 2008 at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. In 2010, he received his M.S. degree in advanced computer technologies from University of Castilla-La Mancha and his Ph.D. degree in 2014 at the same university. In the last years, he has participated in several healthcare projects in collaboration with other universities and companies. His research interests include ubiquitous computing, smart health, mobile health, context awareness, AAL, frailty, gait analysis, data mining, visualization, and user interaction. Fontecha has published more than 14 research papers in JCR indexed journals and he is author of more than 40 publications in relevant conferences. Also he is external reviewer of indexed journals and member of several committees as well as organizer of the annual UCAmI International Conference.
